We are thrilled to announce that Rebuilding Together Baltimore has selected the Woodbourne-McCabe community as our next Rebuilding Day neighborhood for Baltimore City! We will be partnering with the Woodbourne-McCabe Neighborhood Association and Habitat for Humanity of the Chesapeake, which has been working in the neighborhood for 2 1/2 years. Woodbourne-McCabe is a small community of 378 homes, the majority of which were built in the 1920s and 30’s. Woodbourne-McCabe is part of the Greater Govans Community in North Central Baltimore City.
RTB is also excited to announce that we will be working in the North Point Village neighborhood of Baltimore County for a second year! We look forward to working with the North Point Village Civic Association again to reach out to homeowners in need and plan community beautification projects. North Point Village is a neighborhood located in Dundalk with a population of about 3,800. It is a waterfront community situated in a commercial area with town homes as well as single-family homes. The townhomes were built around 1958 and the single-family homes are much older. Over the past year we worked on 12 homes in the North Point Village community and we hope to work on even more next year!
